She Gently Weeps
She Gently Weeps
As the vine like leaves from the willow tree start to sway
Touch of grass so soft on her skin while she lay
Mother Earth holds her close in her warm embrace
"You're safe now, child. Give yourself some grace"
She gently weeps as the Earth whispers peace
Then the world lights up beneath her feet
As the songbirds start to sing,
"Chin up, dear. Everything will be alright."
